Amy Pond from Doctor Who, the girl who waited. Another reason for the title is because the reference was from the episode “The Girl Who Waited”. I’m quite happy with this really. Work time of 3 weeks on and off. First portrait ever, done with reference. The reference was somewhere on Tumblr. Whoever it was that provided the lovely ref, please tell me so that I can link you back. : )

Thanks for viewing!

Edit: Wow, over twice the amount of people added this to their favorites within the past 48 hours. Thank you so much! It means a lot to me that you guys like this. :)

Humans are always impressed, but I'm a Time Lady, My name is The Philosopher, and I'm harder to impress, so you should be REALLY pleased!

Oh wow this is freaking amazing! It's quite a shock that this is your first portrait ever! That's insane! It's so good that I would have assumed that you'd been working with portraits for a while! Well, keep up the brilliant work!

Haha, this did take me quite a while and a lot of reliance on grids though, so I'm hoping to take that away completely one day. XD Thank you for your kind comment!

Uh....what?! Ever?! That's insane! Not only perfectly realistic details but it really looks LIKE her. Wow! Super jealous of your skills.

Haha, I feel happy knowing that it looks realistic and captures her character too. And you'll get there with consistent practice! :)
